Tour Overview

Climb Kilimanjaro via the 6-Day Rongai Route

The Rongai Route is the only path that approaches Mount Kilimanjaro from the north, near the Kenyan border. Because it sits in the mountain's rain shadow, it is generally drier and clearer than the southern routes, offering unhindered, spectacular views and a true sense of remote wilderness.

This 6-day itinerary features a gentle, steady incline that gradually transitions from lush montane forests to stark alpine deserts. You will summit via the eastern side of Kibo and descend via the Marangu Route, providing diverse scenery. Throughout this exclusive trek, you will be fully supported by our elite mountain crew in premium tented camps.
