1. Booking & Financial Terms

Due to the exclusive nature of our luxury expeditions and the necessity of securing permits in advance, the following payment structures apply:

• Deposits: A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your bespoke itinerary, lodge reservations, and government permits.
• Final Payment: The remaining balance must be cleared prior to your arrival in East Africa, as detailed in your specific booking invoice.
• Currency: All transactions are calculated in USD unless otherwise agreed upon with our Moshi office.

2. Itinerary Modifications & Cancellations

We engineer every journey meticulously. While we strive to adhere to the agreed itinerary, Vem Adventures reserves the right to make necessary alterations due to unseasonal weather, wildlife movements, or safety advisories.

• Client-initiated cancellations are subject to a sliding scale of cancellation fees, detailed in your final booking contract.
• We strongly mandate that all travelers purchase comprehensive travel insurance immediately upon booking to cover unforeseen cancellations or disruptions.

3. Health, Fitness & Liability

African travel, particularly high-altitude ascents on Mount Kilimanjaro and remote wilderness safaris, carries inherent risks.

• Fitness: It is your responsibility to ensure you are medically fit to undertake the selected expedition.
• Assumption of Risk: By booking, you acknowledge the inherent risks associated with wild animals, remote travel, and high altitudes.
• Indemnity: Vem Adventures, its guides, and partners shall not be held liable for personal injury, illness, or property damage during the expedition.

4. Intellectual Property

All content, photography, typography, and branding (including the masterbrand name "Vem Adventures") displayed on this website are the exclusive intellectual property of Vem Adventures. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use is strictly prohibited.

5. Governing Law

These terms and any disputes arising from your expedition shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania.
