Day 01

JRO to Serengeti National Park (Fly-In)

Morning: Depart Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) early in the morning for a direct, scenic flight into the Serengeti. Upon landing, you will be warmly greeted by your professional driver-guide and your custom 4x4 safari vehicle.

Afternoon & Evening: Plunge immediately into an afternoon game drive across the iconic plains. In the evening, arrive at the Katikati Tented Camp for a hot dinner and your first overnight stay under the African stars.

Day 02

Full Day in the Serengeti

Morning: Depart before dawn for an early morning game drive to catch the predators at their most active. Return to the tented camp for a hearty, relaxed breakfast.

Afternoon & Evening: Spend the afternoon exploring deeper into the Serengeti. After a hot lunch back at the camp, head out for early evening game viewing before returning to Katikati Tented Camp for dinner and your second overnight stay.

Day 03

Seronera Valley Exploration

Morning & Afternoon: Transfer toward the Seronera region in the heart of the Serengeti with a picnic lunch. This 15,000 sq. km park is unrivaled for its seasonal concentrations of herbivores, including 1.5 million wildebeest and 250,000 zebras. We will focus on tracking the large prides of lions, cheetahs, leopards, and African wild dogs that rule this territory.

Evening: Return to Katikati Tented Camp for a final evening swapping stories around the campfire.

Day 04

Serengeti to Ngorongoro Conservation Area

Morning & Afternoon: Enjoy breakfast at the camp before departing at 8:00 AM. We slowly game drive our way out of the Serengeti plains where the Great Migration originates. Along the route, you have the option to make a brief stop at the historic Olduvai Gorge or a traditional Maasai village.

Evening: Arrive at the Ngorongoro crater rim in the late afternoon, checking into the Rhino Lodge or Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge for a comfortable dinner and overnight stay.

Day 05

Ngorongoro Crater to Karatu

Morning: After breakfast, we descend into the world's largest unbroken caldera. This 10-mile diameter crater is home to 30,000 animals, thousands of flamingos at the Soda Lake, and large carnivores.

Afternoon & Evening: Following a picnic lunch and a successful search for the rarely seen black rhino, we ascend the crater walls and drive to the lush, agricultural highlands of Karatu. You will check into the beautiful Gibbs Farm for dinner and a deeply relaxing overnight stay.

Day 06

Tarangire National Park

Morning & Afternoon: We depart Karatu early in the morning and drive to Tarangire National Park for a full-day game drive. You will witness the park's famous baobab trees and massive elephant herds roaming the rolling savannah.

Evening: In the late afternoon, we exit the park and head to Pembeni Africa (or similar premium lodge) for a hot dinner and overnight rest.

Day 07

Lake Manyara National Park to Arusha

Morning: After breakfast, we drive to Lake Manyara National Park. Dramatically located at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment, the park features a massive soda lake, unique tree-climbing lions, and dense elephant populations.

Afternoon: Following our final game drive, we transition out of the bush and transfer to Arusha, arriving in the early evening for a drop-off at your designated hotel.
