The final push is a spectacular, narrow ridgeline situated between sheer inner crater cliffs and sloping outer walls. We reach the summit (4,566m) in time for sunrise, often seeing Kilimanjaro floating above the clouds. After a short rest and brunch back at Saddle Hut, we descend further to Miriakamba Hut.
