Day 01

Moshi to Materuni Village & Waterfalls

Morning: Chagga Coffee Tour
We depart Moshi and drive to the lush foothills of Kilimanjaro. Upon reaching Materuni Village, your local guide will welcome you to a traditional Chagga homestead. Here, you will learn about the local crops and experience the full coffee-making process—picking, roasting, and grinding the beans by hand before enjoying a delicious, fresh cup.

Midday: Waterfall Hike & Lunch
Following the coffee experience, you will embark on a scenic hike through the village and local farmland. The trails can be muddy, so good walking shoes are essential. Upon reaching the spectacular Materuni Waterfalls, you will be rewarded with a picnic lunch box or a full spread prepared by your private chef.

Afternoon: Swim & Return
After lunch, you have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip in the cold, pristine pools beneath the cascading water. Once you have soaked in the beauty of the falls, we will hike back to the vehicle and transfer you back to Moshi, arriving between 4:00 PM and 5:00 PM.
